The other focus of our time with the
Missing Link Microfinance community: running some workshops for all members who
wished to attend.
There were 4 topics, and all were very well
received:

basic first aid
-
healthy eating
-
small-scale business start-up
skills
-
simple book-keeping
‘Twas a massive pleasure to be able to
serve the community in this way; to share with them some of our knowledge, but
in contextualized ways to suit the rural Ugandan life; to laugh together as we
practiced putting each other in the recovery position; and to reflect on how to
take the other points of learning and use them to improve life in various ways.
